The Buvette de la Cascade du Dard is a nice little snack bar right next to the very beautiful Cascade du Dard waterfall located roughly 2 kilometers from the city center of Chamonix. The buvette is open from late May till the end of September. You can check their facebook page for more up to date information.
The buvette has quite an extensive menu with multiple salads, omelets, crepes, sandwhiches, cheese fondue and their own house specialty potato dish. We got a picture of their menu. They also have multiple deserts and small snacks and a drinks list. Being so easily accessible and close of Chamonix also means that it is a very popular destination and that it is best to reserve ahead of time.
The Cascade du Dard is the nearest waterfall to Chamonix and easily accessible. There is a car park roughly 5 minutes away from the waterfall along the highway going up to the Mont Blanc Tunnel. That is by far the quickest way. We also have a full trail description for a short trail from Chamonix Sud to the cascade and the buvette du dard.
