La Chalette is a nice little restaurant located right next to the Bellevue Cable Car on the ridge plateau located above Les Houches. La Chalette is open in summer from mid June to mid September following mostly the schedule of the Bellevue Cable Car. They have a nice outdoor sitting area comprising of a terrace on both sides of the restaurant and lounge chairs on the grass field right outside the restaurant.
La Chalette has quite a solid menu featuring charcutterie and cheese platters, french fries, burgers, sandwhiches, waffles and salads. Its a pretty popular spot in summer.
The easiest way to reach La Chalette is by taking the Bellevue cable car from Les Houches. We got a nice loop trail to Mont Lachat which starts from Bellevue and can include La Chalette either at the start or the end.
